Matt Gilbert is a shareholder with Fromhold Jaffe & Adams. His practice focuses on estate administration, estate planning and real estate. Matt advises and assists executors, administrators and beneficiaries in all aspects of estate administration - from probate through distribution. In his estate planning practice, Matt prepares wills, powers of attorney, health care powers, living wills and other estate planning documents to ensure that the clients’ wishes are carried out. Matt represents clients in the purchase, sale and lease of residential and commercial real estate. Matt also represents property owners seeking to reduce their real estate tax assessments before Boards of Assessment in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties.
Matt received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland (College Park, 2001) and a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law (2004). He joined the firm as an associate after graduating from law school. Matt is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Matt is a member of the Chester County Estate Planning Council where he serves on its Board of Directors. Matt also serves as an instructor at Delaware County Community College teaching a course on Real Estate Tax Assessment Appeals in its community education program.
